Merging their talents and experience as business owners and filmmakers,
Deborah and Jane created Sage Film and Video.

Jane Pollini

For five years as President of Niva Productions, Inc. Jane provided production, writing, instructional design, broadcast quality videography and video editing services to a wide range of industrial clients, educational institutions, performers and others.

Through Niva, Jane produced the acclaimed full-length historic documentary, There is a Town... Lansdowne.

Jane’s business experience includes seven years as the Strategic Planning Officer for a $6 billion insurance carrier, General Accident Insurance.

Jane is a graduate of Immaculata College with a BA in Organizational Dynamics. She attended the International Film and Television Workshop for Cinematography and Film Production.

Deborah Arnold

Deborah began her first company, Spyral Productions, in 1998 when she started her independent documentary, United Traces. She received a fellowship for United Traces from the Balch Institute for Ethnic Studies and grants from WYBE and The Hamilton Family Trust. United Traces aired on PBS series Philadelphia Stories and was chosen as official selection as part of The New York Independent International Film Festival.

Over the years Spyral Productions grew to include the production of weddings, events, educational and promotional videos.

Credits include TLC’s A Wedding Story and Second Chance, ABC Family’s Switched, PBS live remote satellite events, educational videos and public service announcements.

Deborah received her degree in Anthropology and History from Hofstra University and later attended the Anthropology Film Center where she was trained in documentary filmmaking.
